Please help support vulnerable families and children in Liberia.
Healthcare is a human right.
Our nonprofit’s team works with people who cannot access medical help, so we bring it to them.
We’re committed to high-impact interventions that improve the health, wellbeing, and survival of women, children, and families.
Background
The rural poor have been more marginalized than the urban poor in our country. They are deprived from all kinds of facilities. Specially public facilities are now distributed according to areas with good road access. So the other groups without good road access always remain empty. Although they also can play the important role to our development. The direct contribution of health to human capital formation and socio-economic development is unquestionable and well recognized. So modern hospital in local town is essential for rural people. Moreover, Unhealthy
people are usually poor because they cannot work to earn a living. They are usually malnourished and susceptible to diseases and therefore unable to work either in the fields in rural areas or work on farms in the cities, and are therefore unable to obtain food, shelter, and clothing. Thus, they become poor, and because they are poor and they cannot obtain adequate healthcare and become unhealthy and sick and eventually they become poorer and die. That is why such type of project is important to be taken

Illnesses that would be easily treated or are uncommon in much of the world continue to cause misery and unnecessary death in Liberia. Poor nutrition, diarrhea, HIV/AIDS, malaria, anemia, tuberculosis, and complications during childbirth are a few examples. Morris Wanker Global Healthcare Foundation will responds to the scale of the problem by working to strengthen the public health system—alongside clinicians, hospital doctors, physical therapists, community health workers, midwives, teachers, health volunteers, medical students, and others—so the most vulnerable will have access to high quality & affordable healthcare and prevention services.
